In early December, a leading domestic and foreign design institutes and authoritative third-party institutions DNV GL to TRW sovereign series component system cost and KWH cost calculates the first round, in January 2021, DNV GL again for a second in 600 w + the supreme double double glass flat uniaxial double row with 2 p vertical tracking system value for the whole scene of KWH cost advantage and earnings estimates. This time, two geographically representative power stations, Spain and the United States, were selected as the location of the calculation.DNV GL measurement report shows that Trina Solar 210 supreme double-sided double-glass module can save BOS up to 6.32% compared with 166mm double-sided double-glass module, and the corresponding cost per kilowatt hours can be reduced by 3.72%.
App of Trinda 210 components and tracking system continues to increase
As the PV industry accelerates its entry into the era of parity, Trina Solar continues to reduce costs and improve efficiency. The cost per kilowatt hour advantage of the advanced 210 modules and the Supreme series of products is more prominent. In early December of last year, DNV GL calculated the system cost of Trina Solar 210 Supreme Series 545W double-sided, double-glass single-row vertical 1P versus the traditional 166mm double-sided, double-glass 450W and 182mm double-sided, double-glass 535W. The evaluation results showed that the 210 BOS had significant advantages and the cost per kilowatt hours (LCOE) was better, with a decrease of 3.5%.(the way of best KWH cost series (a) | DNV GL authoritative interpretation of 600 w + the supreme value double double glass flat uniaxial tracking system)
This "DNV GL Authoritative Interpretation of 600W+ Ultimate Double-sided Double-glass Flat Single Axis Tracking System Value Series (2)", based on the measurement results of the Double-row Vertical 2P Tracking System, reaffirmed the system value of Trina Solar Ultimate. The innovative low voltage and high series power design of the supreme component significantly improves the power of the single series component and effectively reduces all links, further reducing the initial investment.
App introduction: cost saving of BOS at 6.32%, per day cost reduction at 3.72%
The project location is selected in typical application areas of PV power station projects in Europe, Spain and Texas of the United States. The location's longitude and latitude coordinates and climatic conditions are as follows:
Using the above two locations as the measurement project, DNV GL measured the system cost BOS and kilowatt hours (kWh) of the 210 supreme series double-sided double-glass 545W component and compared the 166mm double-sided double-glass 450W component and the 182mm double-sided double-glass 535W component under the double-row vertical 2P tracking bracket system. The calculation project is fixed at 100MW AC capacity, the same DC/AC ratio design power station, using the mainstream double-row vertical flat single axis (2P) tracking bracket, supporting the mainstream group series inverter. The fixed Ground cover ratio (GCR) in the system design ensures the consistency of shadow shielding effect of double-sided applications of double-sided components.
The above design aims to control the influence of external factors and system configuration at the same location, and objectively compare and measure the difference influence of different types of components on the system cost and kilowatt-hour cost. In the calculation of the two project addresses, the cost comparison of the three components adopts the same conditions of local equipment, construction and installation, labor cost, on-grid price, operation and maintenance cost, land cost, financial cost, etc., to ensure the integrity and objectivity of cost calculation.
App measurement results
Calculated results of the project in Spain:
Trina Solar 210 supreme double-sided dual-glass 545W module can reduce BOS by 6.32% compared with 166mm double-sided dual-glass 450W module, corresponding to a decrease of 3.19% in the cost per kilowatt (kWh), save BOS by nearly 1% compared with 182mm double-sided dual-glass 535W module, and the cost per kilowatt (kWh) is better.
Calculated results of the US project:
Trina Solar 210 supreme double-sided dual-glass 545W module can save about 6.06% BOS compared to 166mm double-sided dual-glass 450W module, which is about 3.72% lower in cost per kilowatt hour. It can save about 1.2% BOS compared to 182mm double-sided dual-glass 535W module, which is about 0.5% lower in cost per kilowatt hour.
▎DNV GL Report Revisit: This App promotes single battery power, reduces many costs, and has the lowest electricity cost for your LCOE
Following the single-row vertical 1P tracking measurement, the third party DNV GL's measurement of the double-row vertical 2P tracking system confirmed the system value of Trina Solar SUI. First of all, the innovative low voltage, high series power design of the supreme component enables more components to be connected in series under the 1500V system voltage, significantly increasing the single series power; At the same time, the ultra-high power of single component can reduce the total number of components used in the project and the reduction of the number of clusters, which can save the cost of DC cable material, and effectively reduce the cost of transportation, manual installation and bracket, and further reduce the initial investment. Finally, the superior power generation performance of the Supreme module ensures the lowest cost per kilowatt hour of LCOE and maximizes customer value.
Since its establishment 23 years ago, Trina Solar has been driven by innovation, reliable quality and customer value.Since the release of the first advanced 210 component in February 2020, today, it has evolved into a rich product line including 400W Supreme Little King Kong, 500W, 550W and 600W Supreme Series, covering household, industrial and commercial, conventional ground power stations, as well as agricultural light, fishing light and other application scenarios. By the end of 2021, Trina Solar plans to have a production capacity of no less than 50GW of photovoltaic modules. In the future, Trina Solar will continue to consolidate its advantage in the production capacity of advanced modules based on large-size batteries.
